Defiant Digital’s Cancel Court is an improv comedy courtroom show where two comedians battle head to head as attorneys and conduct a trial to determine if a celebrity should be “canceled”. The comedians will present their case before the judge and jury, who will give the final ruling based on the facts presented.

In this episode, Ryan Davis attempts to convince the jury that Philadelphia rapper Meek Mill should be canceled by the hip-hop community, due in large part to not solely making contributing to it. Disagreeing with Davis’ theory, Ron Taylor doesn’t only think that Meek should remain among hip-hop biggest stars, but he should also receive a lifelong pass based on Dreams & Nightmares alone.

Ryan Davis:

Ryan is a comedian out of Concord, NC whose versatile style of comedy has allowed him open for mainstream acts such as Jay Pharoah of SNL, urban acts like Michael Blackson of Next Friday, and eccentric acts like Tom Green of The Tom Green Show. By winning many comedy competitions, starting a successful monthly comedy showcase, and gaining the respect of comedians that have been doing it 20+ years; Ryan proved that the amount of stand-up comedy success that he saw in such a short period of time was not a fluke. Due to his success as a viral internet star, Ryan no longer is an opening act. Though he is known more for his online videos, Ryan isn’t like the other internet comedians. He is a dual threat that is the first of his kind.

Ron Taylor:

Ron Taylor is a stand-up comedian, writer, and actor who hails from Detroit and currently lives in Los Angeles. In 2018 he was selected as a New Faces at the Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal and in 2017 he performed at the festival as part of Kevin Hart’s talent showcase LOL Live. Ron has been featured on BET’s Apollo Live, Fox’s Laughs, and on numerous viral videos on the All Def-Digital network. He performs in festivals and clubs all over the world, including hosting Blake Griffin’s Charity Comedy Show in Los Angeles and Russell Westbrook’s Charity Comedy show in Oklahoma City. He is a paid regular at the world-famous Comedy Store in Hollywood.
