Netflix has released the official trailer for its upcoming film Fatherhood, starring actor and comedian Kevin Hart.
Based on Matthew Logelin’s Two Kisses for Maddy: A Memoir of Loss & Love, the movie stars Hart as Logelin, a widow who is forced to raise his young his daughter Maddy (Melody Hurd) alone following the death of his wife Liz (Deborah Ayorinde). The emotional trailer offers a peak at the trials the pair experiences as they go through this journey together, spotlighting the highs, the lows and the comedic moments.
The film was directed by Paul Weitz and produced by Marty Bowen, David Beaubaire, Peter Kiernan and Hart himself. Originally set to release in April 2020, the premiere was delayed several times due to COVID-19 and was eventually licensed by Netflix from Sony.
Fatherhood premieres June 18 on Netflix.
