Last month news broke that Nikki Glaser was going to host a new reality dating show for HBOMax, and now we have a trailer and release date for the show. July 29th is the date you need to login to your HBO Max account and watch the new show FBoy Island, a much easier to digest title than the dirty nickname the title comes from.
The show will drop in bingeable chunks – the first three episodes of the ten-episode will premiere on the 29th followed by three additional episodes on August 5, and the final final four episodes on August 12.
The show follows three women who move to a tropical island where they’re joined by 24 men – 12 self-proclaimed “Nice Guys” looking for love, and 12 self-proclaimed “FBoys,” and they are all there to compete for money. The women will navigate the dating pool with the hope of finding a lasting love connection. By the finale, all will be revealed – who is a Nice Guy, who is a FBoy, and who the women ultimately choose. They are calling it a “social experiment” that asks the age-old question FBoys reform or do Nice Guys always finish last?
The series was created by Elan Gale (The Bachelor franchise) with Sam Dean (12 Dates of Christmas, Love is Blind) as showrunner. The show was filmed earlier this year in the Cayman Islands.
