Comedian/Actor Chris Rock took to social media over the weekend to tell fans that he tested positive for COVID-19. During the announcement, Rock would encourage fans to get vaccinated to avoid serious illness.
Earlier this year, the 56-year-old star would make headlines for joking about skipping the line to get the Johnson & Johnson vaccine while visiting The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.
Though individuals who are vaccinated can still contract COVID-19, they are less likely to experience significant symptoms, health experts say.
Several celebrities wished him a speedy recovery.
