Comedy stars Jon Stewart, Sam Jay, and Roy Wood Jr. headline the 26th annual Comics Come Home comedy event hosted by Denis Leary. For the past 26 years, Leary has used the annual comedy show to help raise money for the Cam Neely Foundation.
Along with performances from Stewart, Jay, and Wood, the event will also feature Robert Kelly, Lenny Clarke, Orlando Baxter, and Carolyn Plummer. The show will take place November 13th at 8 PM ET at the TD Garden in Boston. Pre-sale tickets go on sale today at 10 AM ET. Tickets can be purchased here.
The Cam Neely Foundation was launched in 1995 by Boston Bruins President and alumnus, Cam Neely, after he lost his parents, Marlene and Michael Neely, to cancer. This experience created the inspiration to help others living with cancer. With the dream of honoring his beloved parents and the hope of helping others, The Cam Neely Foundation was created to help cancer patients and their families during treatment. As millions of Americans will be diagnosed this year with some form of cancer, an understandable sense of urgency propels the Foundation’s mission.
A-list comedians perform alongside new faces and local legends at the 14,000 seat TD Garden arena, all donating their time (and jokes) to a great cause. All proceeds from the annual show benefit The Cam Neely Foundation which provides comfort, support, and hope to adult and pediatric cancer patients and their families. Comics Come Home has raised over $13 million since its inception and is the longest-running comedy fundraiser in America.
