Lauren London has joined the cast of Jonah Hill and Kenya Barris’ still-untitled Netflix comedy, Deadline reports.

She joins a stellar group that includes Hill, Eddie Murphy, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Sam Jay, and Molly Gordon. The script was written by Hill and Barris, with Barris set to direct.

London and Hill play a couple who, as Deadline writes, “find themselves examining modern love and family dynamics amidst clashing cultures, societal expectations, and generational differences.”

Reports of the forthcoming film surfaced throughout the summer, with news arriving in June that Hill had written a comedy with Kenya Barris, one that he would also star in “Sooo pumped to be doing this crazy project with my boy @Jonahhill and @Netflix!” Barris wrote on Instagram at the time. “Can’t wait to show y’all the hilarity we have cooked up!!! Jonah is truly one of the most overall talented people on the planet and I’m psyched to be on this awesome team!!!”

Murphy then joined the cast in late August. According to Deadline, his and Hill’s character find themselves on opposite sides of the various issues the film sets out to explore. The actor previously worked with Barris on Coming 2 America, which debuted on Amazon Prime Video earlier this year. Barris will produce the film under his Khalabo Ink Society banner and Hill will do the same through his Strong Baby banner.

More recently, London appeared in the Amazon Prime action thriller Tom Clancy’s Without Remorse as Pam Kelly, the wife of Michael B. Jordan’s character, John Kelly.
