Last Monday night, Ali Kolbert returned for another stand-up comedy performance on The Tonight Show w/ Jimmy Fallon. During her late-night set, Kolbert talks about getting hit on by “younger dudes,” moving to the adult table at Thanksgiving, getting a girlfriend during the pandemic, what men have in common with Amazon/USPS, and sexism.

After graduating NYU Tisch, Ali Kolbert landed a job as an NBC Page at 30 Rock–where she worked on shows such as Saturday Night Live, The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, and Late Night with Seth Meyers. In 2017, Ali went on to make her television debut in that very building, on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon.

Since then, Ali has worked as a writer at The Onion and has performed her clever and provocative stand-up at The Laughing Skull Comedy Festival in Atlanta, as well as The Big Sky Comedy Festival in Montana, appearing on The Today Show with Kathie Lee and Hoda, and countless episodes of Tru TV’s Comedy Knockout. In 2019, Ali participated in NBC’s comedy show, Bring The Funny, and then made her sophomore stand-up performance on A Little Late with Lily Singh.

All the while, Ali was a host on BUILD Brunch, where she brought humor to a pop culture panel, airing on Yahoo and Huffpost Entertainment to their shared fan base of over 20 million. Ali was recently included in Variety Magazine’s July comedy issue, profiled in Forbes Under 30, and named one of New York’s Funniest in 2019. Now in 2021, Ali is a lead on Tru TV’s new half-hour comedy, Top Secret Videos, alongside Ron Funches and Brian Posehn. She has appeared in many viral videos for BETCHES, which has contributed to her combined social media following of over 150k and has recently launched her podcast, The Ali Kolbert Show.
