When you’re a great comedian, you can find the funny in any situation, including death.

Still grieving from the loss of his son in 2021, Los Angeles comedian Tony Baker showcases new comedic material regarding his son’s passing during a recent appearance on KevOnStage’s Keep Your Distance comedy show.

“I be wanting to talk about my son’s death, but everyone be getting tight on me in the audience, see? look how quiet everyone just got.” Baker says to the audience.

The material would continue with Baker explaining how he’s unsure if his son’s ashes were actually delivered to him after cremation. Tony would consider taking those same ashes to Maury to confirm that his son was actually in the urn placed in their home.

One of comedy’s biggest stars, Baker faced unimaginable tragedy in August 2021 as his oldest son Cerain Anthony Raekwon Baker and two others were killed in a devastating three-vehicle car accident in Southern California.

Cerain, a young man and a woman, were found by paramedics and police officers and were declared dead at the scene. They were tragically ejected from the silver Volkswagen they were riding and were unconscious by the time first responders arrived.

Two other people were also seriously injured in the crash and were taken to a hospital for their injuries. The two other deceased victims were identified as Jaiden Kishon Johnson and Natalee Asal Moghaddam.

On social media, fans of Tony’s sent their prayers and condolences after hearing the tragic news.

Chicago native, Stand Up Comedian/Actor Tony Baker has been making people laugh for nearly a decade, blessing stages around the world with his unique brand of humor and style.

In addition to being seen performing at the hottest comedy clubs around the country and organically making millions of people laugh worldwide with his legendary viral voiceover videos on social media, Tony Baker’s comedic skills have landed him on the big screen and television: finalist on NBC’s The Last Comic Standing (Season 8 & 9 ), NBC’s The Carmichael Show (Season 2), HBO’s All DEF Comedy (Season 1), Trutv’s Standup/storytelling showcase, Laff Mobb’s Laff Tracks, the Academy Award-nominated movie Whiplash and his 2018 debut Comedy special Scaredy Cat (iTunes/Google Play).
