Who actually says they’re in love or in a relationship anymore?

To help find the reasoning to this question, dating influencer, TV writer, comedian, and ex-commitment-phobe, Natasha Chandel sits down with comedic guests to break down various dating/relationship topics as part of her weekly dating podcast entitled Kinda Dating.

Knowing what it’s like to be funny acting in love and comedy, Chandel was a writer on season two of the Netflix comedy series Mr. Iglesias starring Gabriel Iglesias. The versatile actress and improviser have been in Comedy Central’s Man Up, CBS’ Seal Team, Hulu’s The Mindy Project, HBO’s How to Make it in America, CBC’s 11 Cameras and MVP. Natasha is a graduate of UCB improv, and received a UCB Diversity Scholarship. In theater, Natasha was lead in the sold-out comedy play Brown’s 3-4 and has been in multiple runs of the acclaimed Vagina Monologues, among others.

Previous Kinda Dating podcast guests vary from New York Times best-selling author Mark Manson, global comedian Russell Peters, expert therapist Nerda Glover Tawwab, actor James Kyson, social media influencer Hayley Herms, America’s Got Talent’s Gina Brillon, all the way to Natasha’s own parents.

A lighthearted sex/relationship podcast that often goes deep (no pun intended), Kinda Dating has been featured as a top dating and sex podcast in AskMen, Bustle, Refinery29, Elite Daily and more! It was also selected as an iTunes New & Noteworthy podcast.

With social media in our face, it’s hard not to compare our love lives (or lack of) to everyone around us?

In this week’s episode of the podcast, Natasha is joined by special guests TV comedy writers and married couple, Alex Sherman and Alyssa Lane. The common adage is: marry your best friend. But should you really? While Alex and Alyssa believe they are bffs, Natasha questions the theory. They discuss how to draw boundaries within the best friend-ness of a relationship (so you’re not totally codependent), the meaning of a true partnership, and if you should take someone out of the friend zone into something more. It’s a friendly, entertaining new episode of Kinda Dating!
