Peacock has revealed the full Killing It trailer for its forthcoming comedy series, which hails from Brooklyn Nine-Nine creators Dan Goor and Luke Del Tredici. The video features a security guard who turns to big snake hunting in order to achieve his American dream. It is scheduled to start streaming on Thursday, April 14.
Killing It is created, written, and executive produced by Goor and Del Tredici, who are both serving as showrunners. Joining Robinson are Claudia O’Doherty, Rell Battle, Scott MacArthur, Stephanie Nogueras, Wyatt Walter, and Jet Miller.
“The 10-episode series is a comedy about class, capitalism, and one man’s quest to achieve the American dream,” reads the logline. “And also about hunting really big snakes.”
Robinson leads the cast as Craig, a man who will do anything to make his American Dream come true, even compete in a state-sponsored python hunt. Nogueras plays his ex-wife Camille with whom he uneasily co-parents their pre-teen daughter, Vanessa (Jet Miller).
Battle plays Craig’s younger brother Isaiah, whose version of the American Dream is a lot less legal than that of his sibling.
Killing It is executive produced by Robinson, Mark Schulman, and Mo Marable, who also directed the first three episodes. It is a production by Universal Television.
