One of stand-up comedy’s most notorious personalities has finally released his long-awaited 4th comedy special as Ari Shaffir presents Jew.
Originally set to be released in 2020, Shaffir suffered a setbacks courtesy of COVID-19 pandemic and controversial comments regarding the death of NBA legend Kobe Bryant.
They delay would be a blessing in disguise for the Los Angeles, California comedian as it gave him more time to perfect his craft and deliver one of the most thought-provoking specials of 2022. Considering this special as a love letter to the culture and religion that raised him, Shaffir makes the audience laugh and think as he shares his thoughts on religion and all the trappings that come with it.
The deal is, this is a dirty show. It’s not all offensive but definitely some parts are offensive. So don’t bring that one friend in your friend group who makes that tsk noise a lot. Just tell them you’re doing something else or your grandmother died or your grandmother killed somebody and you gotta be a character witness. Whatever. Just don’t bring them. But everybody else for sure come. Ari puts on a great show every year of all new material and he brings great openers. So, it’s just a really funny night of legit mainstream standup and you’re going to have a great time every time.
