In this week’s episode, Audrey Peters has been called “one of the most polarizing people on TikTok” because she is a glamorous Manhattanite who is 100% honest about her lifestyle, obsession with buying designer, surgical procedures, and strong opinions on men in Murray Hill. Her honesty and openness were perfect for hell.

Hannah Berner: Hannah Berner was born in Brooklyn, New York and played competitive tennis for the University of Wisconsin. She emerged on the comedy scene by directing, editing, and acting in videos on Instagram and writing viral tweets. She has two podcasts, Giggly Squad and Berning In Hell, with over 20 million downloads. She was a cohost on Bravo’s Chat Room, as well as a member of Bravo’s Summer House for three seasons, and has over 1.4 million followers across her social media platforms. She currently performs standup in NYC and at clubs and theaters around the country. In 2022, she was named one of Just For Laughs “New Faces Of Comedy” in Montreal. Hannah is an advocate for mental health, animals, and napping.

Audrey Peters: Peters is not particularly unusual, but she is a prime example of how celebrity is made now, following a tattered playbook that is resurrected every time someone new and fresh enters the scene, seeking the spotlight. However, after making a minor splash in the papers for trying to hire an unpaid intern to do whatever it is that she might need, Peters’ trajectory to notoriety is right on track. This is a big step! She’s on her way to something. 

Peters’ TikTok, in which the apparently wealthy influencer was looking for an unpaid intern, sparked a rash of criticism about the ethical nature of her request. In a previous post, Peters had allegedly reached out to her following asking for money, a pattern described in yet another, clarifying TikTok that purports to educate users about why Peters’ request was so egregious.
