The first official trailer for the upcoming AMC+ film Christmas with the Campbells has been released, previewing a holiday romance movie with a bit of a spin.
Unlike other holiday rom-cons, this film seems to be a bit more on the raunchy side, with the trailer featuring plenty of jokes and other references that hint at a more adult-oriented film.
“The traditional holiday romance movie, from the writer of You Light Up My Christmas and the director of The Christmas Bow, gets a little more fun this year with a spin from co-writers Vince Vaughn (Couples Retreat) and Dan Lagana (American Vandal),” reads the official synopsis for the film. In Christmas with The Campbells, when Jesse gets dumped right before the holidays by her boyfriend Shawn, his parents convince her to still spend Christmas with them, and Shawn’s handsome cousin, while Shawn is away.”
Christmas with the Campbells is set to release in theaters and on streaming via AMC+ on December 2, 2022.
