Comedian Matt Rife wants to help many of you find a cure for the February blues with the release of his new comedy special titled Matt Steven Rife.
Filmed in Austin, Texas, this past December, the special is a follow-up to one of 2022 ‘s most recognized comedy specials Only Fans. The new trailer features Rife discussing his challenges surpassing the success and material of his previous special.
A self-produced project, Only Fans has amassed over 2.5 million views on the Youtube streaming platform alone and garnered critical acclaim from various entertainment publications, including Variety, Vulture, and Yahoo.
Following the recent trend set by comedians Dane Cook, Jade Catta-Preta, and Sarah Tiana, Matt Steven Rife will be released on Valentine’s Day, Tuesday, February 14th, 2023 6PM exclusively on Moment digital platform.
Recently signing to CAA, Rife has been performing since the age of 15 and has opened for comedians like Dane Cook, Ralphie May and DeRay Davis. He made his TV debut on MTV’s Wild ‘N Out and hosted the network’s TRL reboot, while acting work has included appearances on shows like Fresh Off the Boat and Brooklyn Nine-Nine. In 2019, he was a contestant on NBC’s comedy competition show, Bring the Funny.
The following year, Rife — originally from Columbus, Ohio — began posting some of his stand-up material to TikTok and quickly grew a sizable following. To date, Rife has amassed 260 million views globally and has a fanbase of 5.8 million followers on the platform.
Rife is currently embarking on a 2023 Chipped Shoulder tour.
