How did you discover your passion for comedy:
Always was obsessed, I can’t remember when it started.
What do you remember most about your first time performing stand-up comedy:
East Lansing, Michigan. One time in 2012.
I bombed in front a group of old ladies. Didn’t do it again for 10 years.
How would you describe your comedic style:
Blunt and fearless.
Describe your process for comedic writing:
I find punchlines while talking with friends. Then build around it.
Describe the comedy scene in your area:
Not great. Los Angeles has lost it’s mojo for actually hilarious comedy. It rewards being sexy and vulnerable more than jokes.
How do you judge success in the world of comedy:
People buying tickets to see you.
Who are some of your comedic peers that you enjoy watching perform or inspire you personally and professionally:
Alan Peterson and Daegen Asfaha.
What’s been your most memorable moment in comedy:
Winning a comedy competition between 20 other comics that couldn’t make the room laugh and I went up at the end and got the whole room on my side.
What have you learned most from your failures in comedy:
There is nothing to fear. Just get up and get better.
How do people react toward you when they realize that you can make people laugh:
They drop their panties.
Describe building a career in stand-up comedy:
You have to trudge through the mud but if you work hard and smart you will see tangible progress.
If you could change one thing in the world of comedy, what would it be:
No more bringer shows.
Best advice you’ve ever received from a comedian:
F*ck bitches get money.
If you were releasing a comedy special this week, what would it be called:
“Coming Up Short.”
Funniest encounter you’ve ever had with a celebrity:
I told Will Poulter he was a terrible actor sarcastically but he thought I was being serious.
Weirdest place you’ve ever performed any form of comedy:
Someone’s backyard with their catholic parents watching and we couldn’t talk about anything dirty.

Trust yourself and take away the filters.
What are your thoughts on the future of comedy:
Looking good.

I’d write an episode of the Flintstones where a family of Jews move next door.
