Who actually says they’re in love or in a relationship anymore?

To help find the reasoning to this question, dating influencer, TV writer, comedian, and ex-commitment-phobe, Natasha Chandel sits down with comedic guests to break down various dating/relationship topics as part of her weekly dating podcast entitled Kinda Dating.

Knowing what it’s like to be funny acting in love and comedy, Chandel was a writer on season two of the Netflix comedy series Mr. Iglesias starring Gabriel Iglesias. The versatile actress and improviser have been in Comedy Central’s Man Up, CBS’ Seal Team, Hulu’s The Mindy Project, HBO’s How to Make it in America, CBC’s 11 Cameras and MVP. Natasha is a graduate of UCB improv, and received a UCB Diversity Scholarship. In theater, Natasha was lead in the sold-out comedy play Brown’s 3-4 and has been in multiple runs of the acclaimed Vagina Monologues, among others.

Previous Kinda Dating podcast guests vary from New York Times best-selling author Mark Manson, global comedian Russell Peters, expert therapist Nerda Glover Tawwab, actor James Kyson, social media influencer Hayley Herms, America’s Got Talent’s Gina Brillon, all the way to Natasha’s own parents.

A lighthearted sex/relationship podcast that often goes deep (no pun intended), Kinda Dating has been featured as a top dating and sex podcast in AskMen, Bustle, Refinery29, Elite Daily and more! It was also selected as an iTunes New & Noteworthy podcast.

With social media in our face, it’s hard not to compare our love lives (or lack of) to everyone around us?

In this week’s episode of the podcast, Natasha and co-host Aisha Holden are joined by comedian/musician Ksenia as they discuss Daddy Issues. The ladies get personal about their traumas and how it affected their relationships later on. They talk about the importance of not allowing oneself to be treated poorly in the name of love, self-awareness, and focusing on the positive qualities of men instead! But hey, it’s not all about women. Ksenia and Natasha acknowledge that men, too, suffer from daddy issues, and both share their experiences with therapy in their healing process. It’s a funny but important episode of Kinda Dating!

This Week’s Special Guest:
Ksenia: Ksenia has appeared in feature films, shorts and a variety of sketches and music videos. She co-wrote, produced and starred in the romantic comedy, Bride To Be, set for release in late 2021, and is currently partnering with Irina Voronina (Reno 911, 13 Reasons Why) on the spy comedy, Operation Bombshell. Ksenia is also in the works on her own TV show, to be released in early 2022. Her stand-up appearances include The Comedy Store, Comedy Cellar NYC, Flappers, Pretty Funny Women, UCB and more.
