In her debut comedy album, Cat Alvarado shares her hilarious and heartwarming quest for identity and belonging. Starting as a misfit half-Latina she seeks that belonging everywhere–music, athletics, religion, marriage, sex, and even a cliché #wanderlust backpacking trip through Spain–each experience bringing her one step closer to finding her truth in community and in herself.
Cat believes she’ll “never write something quite like this ever again.” She wrote and perfected the jokes over the span of a decade. While writing and producing her one-woman show “Best Wife Ever” she realized she needed to further explore her Latinidad in order to more authentically share her story and from that need, Off-White was born.

Cat Alvarado: Funny, passionate and insightful, Cat Alvarado is a stand-up comedian and activist. Her comedy covers relatable topics like parents and dating, but also dives into her views on Latin American geopolitics, including the current crisis in Nicaragua. Cat has over 2 million views on YouTube from the popular YouTube Channel, The Reel Rejects, was featured on Buzzfeed’s Tasty channel. She also was on the PBS show First Nations Comedy Experience. She hosts the comedy podcast Villains of History @villainsofhistory. She’s also performed in some of the top comedy festivals in the country, including Laughing Skull and Big Pine.
