I felt like I was about to jump out of a plane.
How would you describe your comedic style:
Nonchalant
Describe your process for comedic writing:
P/S/P. Premise, set up, punch. Still, there is a lot to learn, but that foundation is key. Fill in the blanks with what you want to talk about, and for God’s sake, make it funny.
Describe the comedy scene in your area:
L.A comedy scene is cool. A lot of talent and superstars. Good place to be around.
How do you judge success in the world of comedy:
Making a living. Paying your bills. Being happy. If you have a stable family, you’re successful.
Who are some of your comedic peers that you enjoy watching perform or inspire you personally and professionally:
A few. Jack Jr., Cisco Duran, Kyle Grooms are the big homies. Then kings like Ken Flores, Rene Vaca, Luis J. Gomez are REAL AF. Down-to-earth guys who don’t let fame/success get to their head.
What’s been your most memorable moment in comedy:
A show in Miami, where I hosted and met my girlfriend. I slay it that night, the show, not her.
What have you learned most from your failures in comedy:
There are no failures. Long as you go up and keep sharpening your sword, that’s always a win.
How do people react toward you when they realize that you can make people laugh:
They try to get me to work for free.

It’s been an interesting journey with a lot of interesting people. It’s challenging but no impossible. Now more than ever with social media.

“Marriage for Papers”
Funniest encounter you’ve ever had with a celebrity:
Keith Robinson is always ON for some reason. So funny!

Steady sold out tours, and eventually directing my own movie.
What would you tell a potential comedian if they ask you how they can own the laughs:
Try it 5 times. If you get some laughs, keep going. But you got a long road ahead.
What are your thoughts on the future of comedy:
Future looks bright!
If you could write ONE episode for ONE classic TV sitcom, which show would it be and give a brief detailed sentence on the episode:
Chappelle show, one hundred percent. It had no barriers. I’d do an episode about Trans adults suing their parents over their gender reveal parties. Showing the blue or pink dust video as ‘Exhibit A’ evidence. Baby boomer parents in shocked as they get found guilty and locked up. Big concept! Based on one of my bits, so I better not see this on TV next year (Laughs)!
If you could choose ONE comedy club and THREE comedians to perform with on your perfect comedy show, how would it go:
A nice theater, I host & with my boys I mentioned up top! I only want to work with friends and good people.
What’s next for you:
Afro Latino Tour 2024. More funny skits & hopefully another TV appearance. Gotta find management!
Why should a person always laugh at life:
Cause it’s better than crying!
