A musical comedy special written and performed by the highly energetic Maggi Mayfield.

In this debut comedy special titled Social Media Is Fake, Maggi explores the ridiculousness of the ins and outs of our lives online.

Her obsession with social media has turned into this catchy sing-a-long littered with jokes about being caught in the real world. Ranging from her thoughts on the news and global warming to dating apps and conspiracy theories, you will be humming these songs long after the screen goes dark.

Maggi Mayfield: A musical parody comedian. Her high energy, bubbly personality will entice you when she gets on stage to discuss topics like shopping, dating, and how we act like idiots on the Internet.  Her filthy mind will have you rolling in the aisle, but the songs will have you singing along long after the show is over. You can find her album, “Wake Up, Maggi” wherever you like to listen to music. She has traveled all over the country performing for clubs and festivals including The Plano Comedy Festival, The Sno Jam Comedy Festival, Ventura Comedy Festival and Laugh Riot Grrrl. She was also a semi-finalist in the Opening Act Contest to play the Hollywood Bowl with Coldplay.
 
She has opened for David Spade (Paradise Comedy Tour, Hawaii) David Koechner (Anchorman) and hosted Craig Robinson (The Office).

She is professionally trained at The American Musical and Dramatic Academy in NYC, The Academy of Radio Broadcasting in Huntington Beach, CA, and has also studied the fine art of improv with Second City in Chicago.
