Putting a new hilarious spin on an old-fashioned tale, stand-up comedian, and Lopez v. Lopez star George Lopez attempts to steal the joy of the Holiday season in How The Gringo Stole Christmas.
In the film, Lopez stars as Bennie, a loving father from East L.A. who is forced to embrace one of his biggest fears when his daughter Claudia returns from the East Coast with an unexpected new addition to her life.
On Wednesday November 8th, an exclusive trailer was released through Lionsgate.
The official synopsis states:
Meet the Fockers meets All About My Father in this irresistibly funny holiday comedy. George Lopez stars as Bennie, eagerly anticipating the arrival of his daughter Claudia (Emily Tosta) at his Mexican-Hispanic-American-Chicano Christmas party in East L.A. But Bennie gets a heart attack of a surprise when Claudia appears from New York with her new boyfriend, Leif (Jack Kilmer) — an uninvited gringo. As cultures clash, Bennie’s holiday party becomes a dysfunctional family Christmas to remember!

George Lopez is joined by cast members Mariana Treviño, Emily Tosta, Jack Kilmer, Romy Peniche, and Alma Martinez.
