First Date with Lauren Compton, a weekly podcast where first impressions will NEVER be forgotten.

Finding a decent person to date is hard work, and comedian/viral content creator Lauren Compton is here to get to the bottom of it. It’s a dirty job, but someone’s gotta do it. Weekly, Lauren invites celebrity guests on to have a first date with her and figures out how many red flags they have, if they’re dateable, AND if there will be a second date! Dating is a wild ride… strap in!

Lauren Compton: The Dallas native has amassed quite the following across all forms of social media with her highly-entertaining content, although her IG bio recommends that you “don’t show your mom.” Actress and standup comedian known for appearing on Showtime’s I’m Dying Up Here and HBO’s Here, Now. She also earned a leading role in the Justin Lin feature film HELP. Compton is a regular performer at various high-profile comedy clubs, including Comedy Mothership and Hollywood Improv.

This week, Compton’s welcomes comedian, podcaster, and original wild boy Steve-O.

Steve-O shares his take on the significance of giving someone flowers on a date, how to deal with rude people in movie theaters, and his go-to karaoke song.

He wows Lauren with his unique “triple national” status and while on the subject of international travel tells some stories about joining the mile high club! Steve-O opens up about his own sobriety and goes into the journey of becoming the right person before finding the right person.

We then get some dating deal breakers and a sweet Valentine’s Day treat for the dessert question.

Steve-O: Steve-O (a.k.a. Stephen Glover) was willing to do whatever it took to become famous, even if it meant stapling his ball sack to his leg. After failing miserably at the University of Miami and couch-surfing with friends, he decided that in order to further his goal of becoming a stuntman he would enroll in Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Clown College. But it was his relentless attention whoring that ultimately led to working with Johnny Knoxville on a new stunt-based reality show called Jackass. In 2000, MTV aired the first season and the rest, as they say, is history. Since then, he’s had continued success, as a New York Times best-selling author with the release of his memoir, ‘Professional Idiot’, as well as establishing himself in the world of stand-up comedy. With fourteen years of sobriety under his belt, Steve-O shows no signs of slowing down. He can currently be found selling out theatres across the U.S. and Canada on The Bucket List tour, a multimedia stand-up comedy show like no other. In 2022, he rejoined Knoxville and the rest of the Jackass crew for the film ‘Jackass Forever’, which opened #1 at the box office, and will be releasing his second book A Hard Kick In The Nuts: What I Learned From A Lifetime Of Terrible Decisions. Steve-O regularly produces content for his YouTube channel which routinely racks up millions of views, and his ‘Wild Ride with Steve-O’ podcast has proven to be a fan favorite with guests like Post Malone, Demi Lovato, Shaq, Tom Delonge from Blink 182, and more. He currently resides in Los Angeles, California with his fiancé Lux. With their shared love of animals, they have four dogs, two cats, and have plans to start their own animal sanctuary.
