Veteran stand-up Comedian and Television Writer Sean Larkins joined Angelo for a Discussion about his career in entertainment and standup comedy, upcoming projects, and more! Larkins discusses his life, how he first started doing comedy, and what it was like writing for television shows like Ced The Entertainer’s hit show, “The Neighborhood.”

Sean Larkins: Sean Larkins is inspired by real life experience. With more than 8 years of stand up comedy under his belt and 2 years improvisational comedy experience, Sean uses versatility and wit to entertain audiences. As a founding member of “The Black Top Circus” which is one of the only black improv groups in the nation. He focuses on action, skit writing, impersonations, and developing many original characters, including his famous ‘Roach Man.’ He is an understudy at the prestigious Alliance Theatre in Atlanta GA. Sean’s television appearances include HBO’s Def Comedy Jam (1992), BET’S “Comic View” (1998), NBC’S mini series “MAMA FLORA’S FAMILY”, with award winning Cicely Tyson in 1998 and TVONE’s “Who’s Got Jokes” (2006). You may recognize Sean on numerous national television commercials including a recent SC Education Lottery advertisement. This native of Detroit, MI. has settled in Atlanta.
