Stand-up comedy has always been known as a genre where the artist can share his point of view on any situation and how someone can find the funny of the moment.
But sometimes, the masses can misunderstand an artist’s material, causing controversy.
Stand-up comedian David Lucas recently made headlines for a joke he used while on stage about the George Floyd murder. Many feel that Lucas was very inappropriate, but others, including some of his comedic peers, have raised the question, should no one be off limits when it comes to comedy?
