But sometimes, the masses can misunderstand an artist’s material, causing controversy.

Stand-up comedian David Lucas recently made headlines for a joke he used while on stage about the George Floyd murder. Many feel that Lucas was very inappropriate, but others, including some of his comedic peers, have raised the question, should no one be off limits when it comes to comedy?

Willing to discuss the joke and the topic, David sat down with hip-hop legend Willie D. and voiced his side of the story and opinions on the matter.
