Helium Comedy Club, which has clubs in several cities, is coming to Alpharetta later this year.
This is the first time the north side of metro Atlanta has had a full-fledged comedy club since the Funny Farm in Roswell closed in 2008.
It will be at the Terraces in Windward Plaza in Alpharetta, about a 10-minute drive from Ameris Bank Amphitheater.
Construction is starting soon and Helium hopes to open later this year.
Helium Comedy Club is a contemporary entertainment venue that bring stadium-sized talent to an intimate theater on a weekly basis.
Patrons enjoy live comedy and other performance art from nationally accredited acts, no more than 60 feet away.
Shows average 1 hour and forty minutes and comprise an opener, a feature, and a headliner with national entertainment credits. Helium clubs are non-smoking facilities. Guests can indulge in a wide selection of food and beverages, from perfectly-portioned appetizers to the hottest craft beers, as well as a full spread of entrees, desserts, and homespun cocktails in a relaxing, cozy atmosphere.
