Ashwin Jacob: Ashwin Jacob is a Los Angeles-based producer, stand-up comedian, and actor. In addition to his work in media he is a strategist for various brands and celebrities around digital. His practice focuses on the intersection of branded content, digital and traditional entertainment. He has been working as the principal at New Hollywood a consulting firm in Los Angeles, California. Ashwin has most recently worked on Habit a film directed by Johnny Hickey. Prior to New Hollywood, Ashwin ran business operation and client strategy at Vario Studios for a diverse roster of digital talent including Terrell Owens, Jody Steel, The Gabbie Show, Dominic DeAngelis, and Dani Noe. Ashwin began his career in college with Playboy and then as a talent manager/consultant with Boston-based Prolifik Group, where his business included both digital and traditional mediums, including corporate strategy and experiential marketing practices. He represented various personalities across NBC Universal, MTV, and Maxim Magazine. Ashwin is a graduate of Bentley University’s undergraduate business school and he has his Master’s in Integrated Marketing Communications from Emerson. Ashwin is also a business writer with articles published across the web on Personal Branding Blog and Yahoo Small Business.

In addition to his work in entertainment Ashwin is involved various investment and advisory roles with technology and entertainment based companies. He is well known as connector and works with various celebrities and brands to produce events and connect people across industries. Ashwin is the host of the popular New Hollywood Podcast which has charted in the top 100 podcasts charts on iTunes.

Ashwin is an an award-winning producer on projects such as Habitual starring Johnny Hickey and MTV’s CT. He has most recently appeared in Scream Bloody Murder. You can catch Ashwin at Stand Up Comedy Venue near you as the country opens up. he is currently often seen performing at the world-famous Hollywood Roosevelt.
