During a recent performance at Chocolate Sundaes inside of The Laugh Factory Comedy Club, Southern California comedian and social media personality G King asked the audience if they had ever been so sprung that they pretend to be the parent?
The 2000 Vallejo High School graduate went to DeVry University in the day and worked for United Parcel Service at night. That interfered with stand-up shows, so he quit and went to work for AT&T and got laid off. That was the sign needed to follow his dream and make comedy his career. King beat out almost 40 other comics for a coveted guest spot on Kevin Hart’s “Hart of the City” show, entering its second season. He had seven minutes to show off his best in hopes of being on the show that focuses on the comedy scene in a designated area.
He now lives in Van Nuys, California, and is a regular at The Comedy Store, The Laugh Factory, and The HaHa Comedy Club, but still performs regularly in Northern California.
