Neal Brennan is back with a new comedy special, Crazy Good, set to premiere on Netflix April 9th, 2024.
This new hour continues the stand-up comedian’s relationship with Netflix making Crazy Good his third stand-up special for the streamer following Blocks & 3 Mics as well has his half hour featured on Comedians Of The World.
In his third Netflix original comedy special, Neal Brennan is feeling pretty great and he’s ready to let you know why. True to form, Neals brings his fresh point of view to hilarious topics ranging from crypto and millionaire mindsets, to his ever-evolving views on mental health and relationships.
The Chappelle Show co-creator taped Crazy Good this past November at the Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles, where directed and served as an executive producer alongside Mike Bertolina, Bill Burr & Al Madrigal of All Things Comedy.
Before revealing this new special, Brennan launched his popular comedy podcast, Blocks, in late 2022 to support his previous special of the same name. We’re excited to see what else Neal has in store to support this new hour.
When speaking with The Hollywood Reporter, he shared his hope for this special saying “people that thought I was mopey or maudlin or self-pitying and maybe had written me off before give me a chance. It’s a hard thing to ask of people. Like, “No, no, no, we’ve reimagined who Neal Brennan is.” But hopefully if you watch the first 11 or 12 minutes, you’ll see, “Oh, he’s just being reckless and funny. He’s not being contemplative in any way.”
