Blake Lynch, the professional nurse who turned a healthcare occupation into a viral hustle as an influencer and stand-up comedian under his alter ego Nurse Blake, is extending his Shock Advised Comedy Tour with an additional 45 dates in the United States.

The news comes on the heels of a North America tour in 2023 that saw Nurse Blake take stages in 100 cities followed by a stint down under in New Zealand and Australia to kick off 2024. The extension kicks off June 28 at the Foxwoods Great Cedar Showroom in Mashantucket, Connecticut, and wraps in his home state of Florida on Dec. 5 with a show at Clearwater’s Ruth Eckerd Hall.

In between, Lynch will head through such states as Georgia, North Carolina, Tennessee, Alabama, Louisiana, Arkansas, Missouri, Texas, Oklahoma, California, Colorado, Iowa, Minnesota, Illinois, Vermont, Ohio, Pennsylvania and more.

Says Lynch: “I have loved connecting with so many healthcare workers around the world over the past year, sharing so many laughs and creating memories together, and I cannot wait to hit the road again this summer. It’s going to be so much fun.”

Lynch, who counts more than four million followers on social media across Instagram, TikTok and Facebook, started his career working in trauma centers before transitioning to comedy. His videos, originating from a desire to cope with nursing stress, have amassed north of 300 million views. Tickets for Nurse Blake’s Shocked Advised Comedy Tour go on sale March 22 at nurseblake.com

It’s not his only side hustle. Lynch is the creator of NurseCon at Sea, a NurseCon App that offers free continuing nursing education courses, and two children’s books, I Want To Be A Nurse When I Grow Up and Santa Sent to the E.R.
