Comedian and Television Personality Jessi Cruickshank has three kids, which in her opinion, is too many kids. In her debut stand-up special, MINIVAN MONEY, available exclusively on Veeps, Cruickshank kicks off the show shimmying while wearing a breast pump, setting the tone for a wild night, unlike any other comedy show you’ve seen before. With three young kids at home, Jessi gives her unique and hilarious take on parenthood, shares ‘Sexts With Her Husband’, showcases her talents as an “Underpants Medium” and asks her millennial-filled audience to throw their sad, used bras on stage. With roars from the crowd, old bras are thrown at Jessi until she crowns the saddest bra in Toronto.

On MINIVAN MONEY”, Cruickshank shares “I am leaking breast milk with excitement to share this special with the world. A lot of people have asked why I decided to start touring as a stand-up comedian with twins and a baby at home … the answer is, I NEEDED A BREAK. I can’t sing or dance so… creating a one hour stand up special and taking it on the road, seemed like the easiest way out.”

Jessi’s legions of fans have grown up watching her on television in Canada where she has been called “the funniest woman on TV, period” (The Province). A Vancouver, B.C. native, Cruickshank got her start in comedy as the only female in an all-male improv troupe alongside Seth Rogen and Nathan Fielder,  before being discovered in a nationwide search to become the face of MTV. After hosting the internationally syndicated hit The Hills After Show with Dan Levy, she then went on to host her own daytime talk show The Goods and prime time game show Canada’s Smartest Person on CBC,  eTalk on CTV, and  Oh Sit! on The CW. Her own comedy series New Mom, Who Dis? became the most streamed series in the country on Facebook Watch and has evolved into a global digital community.

In 2022, she embarked on her first-ever live stand up tour with Live Nation, which sold out in venues across Canada, prompting her to add a second run of shows across the country. Her podcast “Phone A Friend” is the #1 comedy podcast and #3 most-listened to podcast overall and she recently launched her first clothing collaboration with Canada’s largest fashion retailer, Joe Fresh.

The special will be available for free for Veeps All Access subscribers or fans can buy an individual show ticket on veeps.com for $11.99. The show will premiere on Veeps tonight, Thursday, May 30, 2024 at 5pm PT, with a 7-day rewatch period for ticket holders.
