Here’s your first look at Wolfs, the upcoming action comedy set to reunite George Clooney and Brad Pitt.
Written and directed by Jon Watts, the film follows Clooney as a professional fixer hired to cover up a high-profile crime. But when a second fixer (Pitt) shows up and the two “lone wolves” are forced to work together, they find their night spiraling out of control in ways that neither one of them expected.
Starring alongside Clooney and Pitt are Amy Ryan, Austin Abrams, and Poorna Jagannathan. The film is produced by Grant Heslov, George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Dede Gardner, Jeremy Kleiner, Jon Watts, and Dianne McGunigle. Executive Producer is Michael Beugg.
Watts is best known as the director of Marvel Cinematic Universe titles like Spider-Man: Homecoming, Spider-Man: Far From Home, and Spider-Man: No Way Home. He also directed and co-wrote the horror film Clown and the thriller film Cop Car.
Discussing Wolfs with Deadline’s Mike Fleming late last year, Clooney said he and his collaborators were already planning on expanding the film’s universe.
“We’re already talking about a sequel for this film I did with Brad and Jon Watts,” he said. “It was a great shoot and Jon is an extraordinarily talented guy who’s also really joyful. He loves what he does. We had a blast doing it and we’ve seen it. It’s an off the charts great film and it’s fun to work with Brad again. We had a really good time.”
