This is a podcast for people with a few screws loose, but stand-up comedian Maddy Smith is just living her best life.

Mad House is a weekly podcast hosted by the hilarious Maddy Smith. In it, she sits down with special guests or her own thoughts for exclusive interviews and discusses various topics, including life, comedy, entertainment, and wild thoughts. There will be laughter, tears, and blood. :O Take your coat off, stay a while!

Maddy Smith:  A New York City-based stand-up comedian who was named a “comic to watch” at the 2019 New York Comedy Festival. Maddy has toured with Corinne Fisher and is a regular at New York Comedy Club, Carolines, Stand Up NY and regional clubs Punch Line Philly, Helium Buffalo, and Albany Funny Bone. In addition to being a stand-up comic, Maddy is also a roast comedian, having written for the roasts of Ric Flair and Gloria Allred at the Friars Club. She is a regular at Roast Masters and Roast Battle in NYC. Along with stand-up, Maddy has been a regular cast member on MTV’s Wild N Out starring Nick Cannon since fall 2019.

This week, Friend and fellow FuNnY man Brendan Sagalow (AKA Sag Dadddddy) stops by the Mad House to tawkkk!!! He and Maddy discuss his new special ‘Thin Lips’, rapping, hating yourself, and funny stories from summer camp! Then they play a game ‘Punk Rock or Not’ before getting into the ol’ FUPA hotline!

Brendan Sagalow: With equal parts confident social observation and cutting self-deprecation, New York City-based comedian Brendan Sagalow has deftly and defiantly owned the stage for over 10 years. His debut album, Not Now More Than Ever, premiered at #1 on the iTunes Comedy charts. Brendan performed as a “New Face” in the 2022 Just For Laughs Comedy Festival. He has also taken part in the Rogue Island Comedy Festival, Skankfest, and the New York Comedy Festival. He was a finalist in 2018’s “New York’s Funniest”, 2017’s Carolines Comedy Club Competition, and 2017’s Carolines March Madness Competition. He has written for MTV’s Joking Off, and appeared on ViceTV’s “Tumbleweeds with Killer Mike” and the popular Barstool Sports series Answer the Internet. He is a recurring guest on “The Jim and Sam Show”, Barstool Sports’ KFC Radio, and “The Bonfire with Big Jay Oakerson and Dan Soder”. Until recently, Brendan co-hosted the podcast “Here’s the Scenario” with fellow comedians Mike Cannon and Mike Feeney. He has been a guest on an array of popular podcasts, including “You Know What Dude!” with Robert Kelly, “Are You Garbage?”, Ari Shaffir’s “Skeptic Tank”, “Tuesdays with Stories”, “Chrissy Chaos”, “The Chip Chipperson Podcast”, Joe List’s “Mindful Metal Jacket”, “Guys We Fcked”, “Calta and Kelly”, and “Legion of Skanks”. When not touring nationally, Brendan can be seen performing at comedy clubs across New York City.
