These thirty-ish minutes of stand-up comedy jokes, stories, and crowd work were filmed all over Toronto in late 2023. John covers the death of my best friend, my family being a bunch of white people, and, let’s be honest, quality jokes about going brown in your trousers.
This stand-up comedy special was filmed in a comedy club, a basement, and a room he’s pretty sure they broke into all over Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
John Hastings: Over the last fourteen years, John Hastings has appeared at every major comedy festival worldwide, including Edinburgh (2012-2019, 2022-2023), Melbourne, and Just for Laughs Montreal. He has told jokes on BBC Radio 4, BBC 1, BBC 3, Comedy Central, CTV Australian Comedy Channel, and CBC The Comedy Network. He is also the COCA Comedian of the Year, a Martin Sims Award Nominee, and an Amused Moose Comedy Award winner. He was briefly a viral sensation after Dennis Rodman heckled him in Los Angeles, CA. He was most recently spotted on America’s Got Talent.
