Becky Lucas has just released her new comedy special, An Evening With Becky Lucas. The special was filmed while the writer and stand-up comedian was 10 weeks pregnant, which she says “impaired her ability to pull together a ‘look’ [so] please don’t write mean comments because I’m a mother now, and I’m sleep deprived and very emotional.” Well, her ability to crack a joke was far from impaired.
Becky has performed solo shows to sold out crowds across Australia & New Zealand and also overseas as Becky made her Edinburgh Fringe debut in 2018 and the same year went on to perform her solo show live at the Sydney Opera House as part of Just for Laughs Sydney Festival. Becky had another success with her 2019 show Um, Support Me?! rounding off the tour performing alongside some of the biggest names of comedy at the prestigious Just For Laughs Montreal.
