The Nateland podcast is a popular podcast hosted by comedians Nate Bargatze, Brian Bates, Aaron Weber, and Dusty Slay.

The podcast features the four friends discussing a wide range of topics, from pop culture and current events to their personal lives and experiences.

What sets the Nateland podcast apart from other comedy podcasts is the chemistry between the hosts, who have been close friends for many years. Their easy banter and quick wit make for a highly entertaining and engaging listening experience.

One of the unique aspects of the Nateland podcast is the fact that the hosts are all touring comedians. This allows them to share stories and experiences from the road, and gives listeners a glimpse into the world of stand-up comedy.

The podcast has gained a loyal following over the years, with fans appreciating the authenticity and humor of the hosts. Whether you’re a fan of stand-up comedy or just looking for a fun and lighthearted podcast to listen to, the Nateland podcast is definitely worth checking out.

In this episode, Nate returns (eventually), and the guys are joined by their good friend Anjelah Johnson-Reyes. Dusty and Anjelah realize they’re essentially the same person, Dusty reluctantly reveals the hotel chain where he may have experienced demons, and Anjelah shares some creepy encounters that she may have experienced with ghosts.

Anjelah Johnson-Reyes: An actress, comedian, author, and former NFL cheerleader, Johnson-Reyes first garnered national attention as a cast member on FOX’s MADtv in the late 2000s. Her characters included a Vietnamese nail salon employee named Mỹ Linh/Tammy and a rude fast food employee turned music star named Bon Qui Qui (the latter of which has become popular outside of Johnson’s short stint on the show).

By the end of the decade, Comedy Central would release her first stand-up comedy special entitled Anjelah Johnson: That’s How We Do It.

The success from the special would immediately turn Anjelah into one of the hottest latin comedy acts in the country. Since then, Johnson-Reyes has released three more comedy specials including Homecoming ShowAnjelah Johnson: Not Fancy, and Mahalo & Goodnight.

She also appeared in the films Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel and Our Family Wedding, and provided her voice for the live-action adaptation of Marmaduke.

In 2022, Johnson-Reyes released her first book titled My Who Do I Think I Am?Stories of Chola Wishes and Caviar Dreams, a hilarious and thoughtful memoir that explores questions of identity, belonging, and her two dreams as a kid: to be an actress and to be a chola.
