Los Angeles stand-up comedian Alex Farivar is ready to prove that he’s always RIGHT regarding laughter.

In his debut comedy special, Tell Me I’m Wrong, Farivar dives into age, racial humor, drugs, crime, the gritty streets of Downtown Los Angeles, films, music, and other abstract observations. The world is a bizarre place, and Alex may or may not fit right in, but you can’t tell him that he’s wrong.

Alex Farivar: Born in West Los Angeles to Iranian parents. At the age of 6, Alex and his family moved to Irvine, a city in Orange County, Ca. Throughout the years, he moved back and forth from Orange County to Los Angeles. He completed a filmmaking workshop at the New York Film Academy in 2007. He attended the Los Angeles Film School in 2014 and obtained an Associates Degree in Filmmaking. In October of 2015, Alex began his stand-up comedy career. In May of 2018, Alex self-published his first book, “Rotting: Poetry, Prose & Notes From 2011-2017.” His second book, “Tick,” is his first novel.
