She never really excelled in academia as she found herself distracted by the finer things in life: dating, sneaking out at night, socializing, and drinking. After barely graduating high school, she moved to Los Angeles, where she started her stand-up career and has found a way to turn the things she was good at and enjoys (talking openly about dating, alcoholism, sobriety, failed relationships, sex, childhood, years of therapy and medication) into comedic relief that spills into her social media presence, stand up and podcast.
