Gabriel Iglesias is a comedy legend — Legend of Fluffy, that is. On Dec. 19, Netflix announced Iglesias’ fourth comedy special, following the success of 2022’s Gabriel Iglesias: Stadium Fluffy, where Iglesias made history as the first comedian to perform at and sell out Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles during the Netflix is a Joke Fest.
Gabriel Iglesias: Legend of Fluffyis produced by Fluffy Shop Studios and Triage Entertainment, and was filmed at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida. Directed by Manny Rodriguez, with Gabriel Iglesias, John Bravakis, and Joe Meloche serving as executive producers, the special promises to deliver Iglesias’ signature humor and charm, chronicling a comedic journey through the perils of life, from dating and home break-ins to turbulent plane rides.
If you’re just now familiarizing yourself with the beloved comedian, Iglesias has established himself as a powerhouse in the comedy world. With more than 2 billion views on YouTube and a social media following exceeding 34.6 million fans, Iglesias is one of the most watched comedians globally. His accolades include being featured in The Hollywood Reporter’s “Top 40 Comedy Players” alongside legends including Jerry Seinfeld and Chris Rock, and gracing the cover of Variety’s comedy issue.
Iglesias’ other Netflix specials include Gabriel Iglesias: I’m Sorry For What I Said When I Was Hungry and Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias: One Show Fits All. Gabriel Iglesias: Legend of Fluffy premieres on Netflix on Jan. 7.
