Growing up in a small town in Alabama, Matt Mathews never expected his blossoming comedy career to take him as far as it has.
Matt’s response from fans on tour has propelled him forward, and Matt has started what is nothing short of a comedy phenomenon.
In 2024, Mathews would embark on his Boujee on a Budget tour, a 52-city U.S. run produced by Live Nation. Known for his relatable, situational humor, Mathews discusses various topics and personal experiences in his stand-up, including his daily life of living on a farm, his career as a boudoir photographer, relationships, and more. The comedian will also bring his ever-popular “Confessions with Matt” video series to the live stage, where he provides a real-time comedic take on audience members who voluntarily spill their deepest, darkest secrets.
As part of the tour, Live Nation would film a mini-documentary series following Matt’s journey titled Home Stretch. Matt is grateful for his time on the road, but eager to get back to his roots.
