Emmy-winning TV personality, writer, comedian & non-binary entertainer Jonathan Van Ness is headed to Veeps with their debut comedy special, Fun & Slutty, premiering on the platform January 23rd, 2025.
According to the official synopsis: Jonathan takes on “the persona of Professor Jonathan Van Nasty as they set out to educate an unsuspecting audience on the definitions, shenanigans, and stigmas of slutty behavior.” The Queer Eye star is taking a unique classroom approach to this debut hour as seen from the special’s trailer, where they tell the crowd to “think of this as basically a sex ed class for adults.”
“The special leads us all through a sometimes shocking journey of political commentary alongside lighter serves of humor, from trad wife trends to Ye Olden Days of having to use Mapquest to find your dick appointment — all done with the fabulous hair flip, infectious laughter and beaming smile that is pure JVN,” reads a further description of Fun & Slutty.
The new hour was taped earlier this fall for a sold out crowd at Emo’s in Austin, TX. The special’s taping followed the success of Van Ness’ two major world tours, Road to Beijing & Imaginary Living Room Olympian, where they sold out theaters in 40 cities in the US, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand.
Van Ness can currently be seen in the newest season of Queer Eye on Netflix when it returns December 11th & hosting his popular podcast Getting Curious With Jonathan Van Ness.
