OneLegacy is proud to announce that starting in April, LEVITY LIVE, LLC and their 12 comedy clubs nationwide are proud to support the Donate Life cause with the new LAFF4LIFE program.
LAFF4LIFE offers free tickets to comedy-loving registered organ donors at IMPROV and Levity Live clubs across the country.
The program is launching in Los Angeles in April in observance of Donate Life Month.
LAFF4LIFE is spearheaded by double organ recipient, comedian, and author of The Tin Man Diaries, Jamie Alcroft, who also volunteers his time as a OneLegacy Ambassador. “I would thank my donor every day,” says Alcroft, “but I was never sure if he heard me. I wanted to find a way to thank all donors while they’re still alive, and LAFF4LIFE is a great way to say, “Thanks!”
Alcroft continued, “It’s a WIN-WIN; the customers enjoy free admission, and the money they spend on food and drink supports local business and their staff. The comedians have better shows with larger crowds. It’s a huge awareness boost to the donor community and bonus to the club. Saving human lives is simply a good thing, and the towns and cities with IMPROVs and Levity Lives will benefit greatly through this outreach with life-giving organ donation.”

The goal of this initiative is to inspire local communities from across the country to say “YES” to the power of organ, eye and tissue donation by registering as donors. One donor can save the lives of 8 people through organ donation, restore sight to 2 people through cornea donation, and save and heal the lives of 75 people through tissue donation.
