He can assure you that your secrets are safe with him, but it will come at the expense of laughter in front of a live, enjoyable audience.

Comedy Confidential is a monthly comedy show filmed inside the legendary Comedy Store, hosted by stand-up comedian Steve Furey.

The show features a variety of notable stand-up comedians who deliver one-of-a-kind performances in which their secrets become pure and hilarious entertainment.

Steve Furey: Steve Furey is quickly emerging as one of the sharpest young stand-ups in the comedy world. Fresh off of a three year run doing arena tours featuring for Bert Kreischer, Furey is a paid regular at The World Famous Comedy Store, the Hollywood Improv, and Joe Rogan’s Comedy Mothership in Austin. His joke-crafting and storytelling abilities as well as his command of the stage has garnered attention in the comedy scenes of LA, Austin, NYC, San Francisco, and many other markets across the US, touring with comics such as Andrew Santino, Theo Von, Bobby Lee and more. Steve Furey has been featured in JFL’s Moontower festival, SF Sketchfest, Laughing Skull in Atlanta, and Netflix is a Joke fest. He has two sold-out monthly shows at The Comedy Store: Steve Furey & Cronies and Comedy Confidential.

The Comedy Store: The greatest stand-up comedy club in the world. The Store was founded April 7, 1972, on the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood by comedian Sammy Shore, his wife Mitzi and comedy writer Rudy DeLuca. It started because Sammy needed a place to work out when he wasn’t on the road. Sammy was the longtime opening act for Elvis Pressley. It was the first all stand-up comedy nightclub in the world. In the beginning, since Sammy was frequently on the road, his wife, Mitzi assumed the nightly operations of the club and selected and scheduled the comedians that performed there. Mitzi invented a development system in which door guys would work for the club in exchange for stage time. This would lead to them being booked on shows like The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson, help develop sitcoms, land leading roles on blockbuster films, and creating comedy specials that impact generations of comedy fans. Mitzi played a role in the careers of some of the most revered comics of our time. Many of them started as door guys. Sam Kinison, Robin Williams, Marc Maron and Bobby Lee were just a few of the talented voices that worked their way through the system.

Mitzi’s Mission is our way of carrying on Mitzi’s legacy of supporting our door guys for a new generation. A portion of our ticketing service fees goes directly to the door staff. Working the door is a time-honored Store tradition and this surcharge honors their service to The Store and helps support them while working toward their dreams.

In this episode, comedians Evan Williams, Drew Lynch, Kara Klenk and Frank Castillo put all of their secrets on the table and have the audience in attendance laughing all night long.
