Too Much, Netflix’s upcoming Netflix rom-com series starring Lena Dunham, has added five guest stars to its cast: Jessica Alba, Rita Ora, Andrew Scott, Kit Harington and Jennifer Saunders.
Along with the news, Netflix released a trailer for the series. “Too Much” stars Megan Stalter as Jessica, who, per the series’ official description, “is a New York workaholic in her mid-thirties, reeling from a broken relationship that she thought would last forever and slowly isolating everyone she knows. When every block in New York tells a story of her own bad behaviour, the only solution is to take a job in London, where she plans to live a life of solitude like a Bronte sister. But when she meets Felix (Will Sharpe) — a walking series of red flags — she finds that their unusual connection is impossible to ignore, even as it creates more problems than it solves.”
In the trailer, Jessica smashes a window and breaks into the home of her ex-boyfriend (Michael Zegen) and his new girlfriend (Emily Ratajkowski) in the middle of the night, shouting, “Leaving me is the worst thing anyone’s ever done.” She then moves to London and meets Felix as he’s playing music in a bar. When she tells him about her ex, he asks, “Do you want me to murder them?” Jessica replies, “Yeah. I want you to cut their heads off and sew them back on.” The two continue to get to know each other — and get into multiple fights — throughout the trailer.
Along with Stalter, Sharpe, Zegen, Ratajkowski and the newly announced guest stars, the cast includes Janicza Bravo, Richard E. Grant, Leo Reich, Daisy Bevan, Adele Exarchopoulos, Dean-Charles Chapman, Rita Wilson, Naomi Watts, Prasanna Puwanarajah, Andrew Rannells, Rhea Perlman, Stephen Fry, Kaori Momoi and Adwoa Aboah.

Cohen, Surian Fletcher-Jones and Bruce Eric Kaplan. Camilla Bray servews as producer. The series hails from NBCUniversal’s Working Title as well as Dunham’s Good Thing Going Productions banner.
