Actor/Comedian Lil Rel’ Howery and Host/Comedian Dwayne ‘Young Wayne’ Young are teaming up to make a podcast just like their everyday conversations – debates, roast sessions and stories you’ve never heard before! This isn’t another podcast that just reacts to current events. Keepin’ It Rel with Young Wayne is a funny, authentic and unscripted show that touches a wide range of topics from sports to culture to mental health.

In this episode of Keepin’ It Rel With Young Wayne, Rel and Wayne are joined by Actress, Producer and Writer Nelcie Souffrant (Zola, Tales, Bromates). Nelcie brings a burst of life onto the pod as we talk about her upbringing in New York, dating life, creating content and some interesting parties in Downtown LA. Stay on the look out for Nelcie playing alongside Rel in Bromates, hitting theaters October 7th.  

Lil Rel’ Howery: Comedian, actor, writer, and producer Lil Rel Howery is a movie star. His role as TSA agent Rod Williams in the Oscar-winning instant classic Get Out (2017), written and directed by Jordan Peele ushered Howery into superstar status. His keen ability to mesh humor and honor resonated so deeply with audiences that Howery became not only the breakout star but a cultural champion. Winner of the Best Comedic Performance in a Movie at the MTV Movie & Television Awards, nominated for IMAGE Award for Best Supporting Actor and crowned Bernie Mac Comedy King of the Year, Howery is experiencing success at a rate bestowed upon few in Hollywood’s history. As Howery ascends, he also had the lead role in the film Uncle Drew, and guest stars alongside Issa Rae in the fearlessly funny HBO smash comedy series Insecure as Quentin.

Young Wayne: Dwayne Young, better known as Wayne, is a host actor, comedian, content creator and innovator. He harnesses his effortless ability to entertain and exude energy throughout audiences, interviews and events alike. From his Chicago origins, athletes, entertainers and brand entities. His unique “off-the-script” approach to Wayne has garnered a tier of mutual respect amongst a variety of well-known candid conversation creates a sense of comfort and familiarity within his entertainers, tastemakers and more. He focuses on flipping the definition of interviews and interactions. Nelcie Souffrant: Nelcie Souffrant is an American actress, writer and director born to Haitian parents on Long Island, New York. 
 
Nelcie Souffrant made her first appearance at Sundance in January of 2020 for her supporting role Gail in the hit film “Zola” directed by Janicza Bravo and produced by A24 Films . She is cast as Charlotte in the feature film “Bromates” directed by Court Crandall who co-wrote “Bromates” and  is also known for “Old School” which he co-wrote as well. Bromates is expected to be released in 2022.

The copious, versatile, witty and fast learning Nelcie Souffrant, has portrayed roles such as the musically talented violinist Stacey in “Strings Attached” the studious abused teenager Margaret in “Young Stan” and the vengeful mistress Jennifer “Life Is Too Short”while focusing and working ceaselessly in the film and television market. The feature film “Life Is Too Short” premiered ay the A.C Cine Fest Film Festival 2015 which Nelcie Won “Best Actress in Feature Ensemble” for role Jennifer in “Life Is Too Short.  Nelcie graduated from Brooklyn College where she obtained her degree in Theatre.  
 
“Strings Attached” which is written, directed, produced and starring herself, has been accepted into 12 Film Festivals Including: Cannes Short Film Corner,  AOF Film Festival, LA International Shorts Film Festival,  Rwanda Film Festival, Women in Film, Urban World presented by BET and Pan African Film Festival. Nelcie won the “Best Inspirational Short” Award with “Women With A Vision”, the “Best Young Filmmaker “Award at the 2014 AOF Film Festival and nominated at the Pan African Film Festival 2015 “Best Narrative Short” for “Strings Attached”. “Strings Attached” is currently showing on Aspire TV. Prior to that, Nelcie was nominated for the Achievement in Acting Award at the SoCal Film Festival 2013 for the lead role of Margaret in “Young Stan”.  Nelcie Also won “Best Actress” in a feature film at the I Filmmaker International Film Festival. 

Nelcie  has started her own production company Rose N Souffle Production and is looking forward to producing  and directing films in the near future.
