Comedian and bread baker, Tom Papa, is the perfect host, inviting guests to join him for an hour of eating, drinking and enjoying life. With more than 20 years as a stand-up comedian, Tom Papa is one of the top comedic voices in the country finding success in film, TV, radio and podcasts as well as on the live stage. He is a regular guest on The Joe Rogan Experience podcast and the late night TV shows. Tom was a regular performer on the nationally syndicated radio show, Live From Here, from 2017 till the show ended in June of 2020 due to the pandemic. A live variety show hosted by Chris Thile that featured a unique blend of musical and comedy performances, Tom was featured in his own regular segment, “Out. In. America. With Tom Papa,” heard by the 2.6 million fans of the weekly radio show. Tom also appears on National Public Radio several times a year as a guest panelist on Wait, Wait Don’t Tell Me. This year Tom had the honor to guest host the program, filling in for Peter Segal. As a writer, Tom’s credits include the Rob Zombie film, The Haunted World of El Superbeasto, the Jerry Seinfeld film, Bee Movie and the TV series Red Oaks, The Marriage Ref and Come To Papa. When not touring the country, Tom lives in Los Angeles with his wife, two daughters, a cat and dog where he spends most of his time writing and baking bread. 

In this week’s episode of Breaking Bread w/ Tom Papa, comedian Anthony Jeselnik as he discusses his greatest jokes and why his mother’s tacos has something to do with it.

Anthony Jeselnik: Anthony Jeselnik is a stand-up comedian from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He can currently be heard on the Comedy Central podcast THE JESELNIK AND ROSENTHAL VANITY PROJECT. His new Netflix special FIRE IN THE MATERNITY WARD is set to air on Netflix on April 30th. Anthony starred in and created THE JESELNIK OFFENSIVE, which ran for two seasons on Comedy Central. Anthony has written for and appeared on several roasts for Comedy Central, most notably THE ROAST OF DONALD TRUMP and THE ROAST OF CHARLIE SHEEN. Anthony has performed on CONAN, THE TONIGHT SHOW, JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE and was the first ever stand-up comic to appear on LATE NIGHT WITH JIMMY FALLON. He has also written for LATE NIGHT WITH JIMMY FALLON and received an Emmy Nomination for his work on A NIGHT OF TOO MANY STARS: AN OVERBOOKED CONCERT FOR AUTISM EDUCATION. Anthony was named one of Variety’s 10 Comics to Watch in 2008 and one of Comedy Central’s Hot Comics in 2009. In 2010, Anthony released his debut comedy album, SHAKESPEARE, through Comedy Central Records. In 2013, he released CALIGULA, his first hour long special, to critical acclaim. Anthony hosted season nine of NBC’s LAST COMIC STANDING alongside judges Norm Macdonald, Roseanne Barr and Keenen Ivory Wayans. Anthony received praise for his hour long special THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS, which was released by Netflix in 2015.

Adam Ray is a veteran actor, comedian, and voice actor who has starred in a number of roles throughout his career. Adam currently can be seen in Young Rock for NBC, the story of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s life, in which he plays the iconic role of Vince McMahon. Adam most recently starred in the indie comedy The Bellman, and has been seen on HBO’s Curb Your EnthusiasmArrested Development for Netflix, as well as season 2 of American Vandal. Adam was a regular on Lights Out with David Spade and is currently on The Adam Carolla Show. Ray is best known for his work opposite Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy in Paul Feig’s buddy cop comedy The Heat, as well as Feig’s SPY and the reboot of Ghostbusters, in which he voiced the iconic character of Slimer and played a supporting role as well. Adam co-hosted the comedy game show Seperation Anxiety on TBS with comedian Iliza Schlesinger, and has guest-starred on 2 Broke Girls, Workaholics, Silicon Valley and HBO’s Ballers. Adam was also a cast member in the reboot of the sketch comedy franchise MADtv for the CW, and played Joey McIntyre’s manager on the Pop Network show Return of the Mac. He has written for MTV’s PUNK’DAdam Devine’s House Party, and the reboot of Mystery Science Theater. Ray headlines the top comedy clubs in the country, and has been featured on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, as well as Adam Devine’s House Party on Comedy Central.
