From the outside, they may appear driven, focused and together, but a closer look reveals the absolute pigs within. For an hour each week, they share their dirtiest secrets on their weekly podcast entitled Slobs.
Recorded regularly inside The Comedy Store in Los Angeles, California, with this week’s special guest comedian Jeremiah Watkins, the group shares hilarious stand-up comedy stories and discusses the process of making Stand-Up On The Spot.

Jeremiah Watkins: Jeremiah Watkins is heralded as the comedian for making Judd Apatow fall in love with comedy again, and that’s a direct quote from Judd himself! You may know him as 1/3 of The Wave from Comedy Central’s Roast Battle, as Moshpit (a roadie/hypeman) in The Comedy Jam, or as 1/2 of the musical comedy super-duo Regan and Watkins during Kill Tony, the #1 Live Podcast in the world. He performs stand-up at all of the major clubs in Los Angeles throughout the week and became a Paid Regular in 2016 at The World Famous Comedy Store, getting his name painted on their prestigious wall in 2017.
The Comedy Store is also the home for his wildly popular live show Stand-Up On The Spot, which just came off a hit run of shows at Montreal’s Just For Laughs Comedy Festival and was named by GQ Magazine as one of the “5 Funniest Nights in America.” Since moving to LA from Kansas, he has established himself as one of the most physical stand-up comedians in Los Angeles with his high energy and off-the-cuff style. He placed 2nd in the 2015 Big Sky Comedy Festival, and has performed at Just for Laughs, Bonnaroo, Outside Lands, Comedy Central’s New York Comedy Festival, South by Southwest, Riot LA, Moontower, and many other festivals throughout the country.
Other films and tv appearances include: Jimmy Kimmel Live, Comedy Central’s The Comedy Jam, Big Jay Oakerson’s What’s Your F@%king Deal?! on Seeso, star of the the film i-Lived (available on HULU), supporting in the film The Bet (available on VOD), and he can also be seen in the upcoming season of HBO’s Crashing with Pete Holmes. He is a graduate of the Second City, has trained at The Groundlings, and has performed improv all over Los Angeles. Jessica Michelle Singleton: Internationally touring comedy star, Jessica Michelle Singleton just released her second comedy album to high praise from comedy fans and her comedic peers, reaching #1 on both iTunes and Amazon comedy charts, making this her second #1 album after the release of her debut comedy album “Please. Don’t. Leave. Me.” reached #1 on iTunes ahead of veteran comedians such as Brian Regan and Jim Gaffigan. The album was considered for the “Best Comedy Album” Grammy.
Jessica Michelle is a Paid Regular at The World Famous Comedy Store where she can be seen performing whenever she’s in town between touring and she’s the idiot host of the popular society & culture podcast, “Ignorance is #Blessed”. Jessica Michelle Singleton has a unique style of comedy which delivers in a stream of consciousness flow, combining introspective observations and vulnerable personal stories coupled with ideas from what some people refer to as a hyperactive, weird and slightly deranged imagination to make people laugh so hard they cry at things they didn’t even know they could smile about.
Lara Beitz: Born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, LARA BEITZ cut her teeth in the Chicago comedy scene before moving to LA and becoming the most talked-about new addition to the legendary Comedy Store’s stable. Since becoming a regular, Lara has quickly gained fans from the top of the comedy world, including Judd Apatow, and Joe Rogan, who took to Instagram to call her “the real deal.” She gained more fans soon after by appearing on David Spade’s Comedy Central series LIGHTS OUT, which can be seen below. At present, Lara routinely opens arenas for Joe Rogan across the country and makes recurring cameos on The Joe Rogan Experience – one of Spotify’s top podcasts.
Steph Tolev: Steph Tolev is a stand up and sketch comedian from Toronto, Canada currently living in Los Angeles. Her unique brand of absurd and personal comedy has made her an audience favorite across North America both on stage and on television. As a stand up, Steph has done the prestigious Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal four times, three of which were taped for TV and air on the Comedy Network. Steph made her American TV debut on on Comedy Central part of Bill Burr’s new show “The Ringers”. She was recently named one of Vultures “Comics You Should and Will Know” and one of Comedy Central’s “Up Next” comics to watch. She also co-wrote and co-stars in the Comedy Central web series ” Steph & Deb” with comedian Deb Digiovanni. Steph can also be seen in the Amazon show “Please Understand Me” produced by Sarah Silverman and was featured in season two of “Corporate” on Comedy Central. Steph has won the Canadian Comedy Award for Best Female Stand up and was a finalist in Sirius XM’s next top comic.
She was well-received at the acclaimed Edinburgh Fringe Fest, Bridgetown Comedy Festival, Clusterfest, Laughing Skull Festival, San Fran Sketch Fest, High Plaines, Big Sky Festival, Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver Sketch Fest’s, NXNE, and JFL42. Steph has released four albums, “So Many Wolves” in 2014 with her sketch duo Ladystache and most recently “Older & Wider”. On her own she has ” Hot N’ Hungry” from 2016 and just recently “I’m Not Well” that was nominated for a Juno Award for Best Comedy Album.
