Regularly Tahir and Roxxy will be joined by some of their favorite friends, comedians, family members, and celebrity personalities as they share their thoughts and opinions on DMs they receive on a regular basis.
In this week’s episode titled Huh, Tahir and Roxxy go through various DMs and laugh out loud at the wild and unexplainable levels of random friends and strangers.
Tahir Moore: Tahir Moore is a stand-up comedian, writer, actor and internet personality from Illinois. He is widely known for his social media presence as well as his successful YouTube game show series.
Born in East St. Louis, Moore studied at Harris-Stowe State University before moving to Los Angeles to pursue stand-up comedy full-time. He first gained traction due to his YouTube channel, where he uploaded a string of viral prank videos, comedy routines and his popular miniseries Tahir’s Random Rant. The bulk of the channel’s success, however, came from his game show series Wording Is Hard, where a guest is asked to guess an obscure word’s pronunciation and meaning.
Moore’s internet celebrity saw him begin touring the US performing stand-up alongside several notable acts including Affion Crockett, Lavell Crawford and D.L. Hughley. He soon set off on the Real Comedians of Social Media Tour, which features Moore in addition to other online personalities such as KevOnStage and Tony Baker.
Roxxy Haze: Roxxy Haze, a multi-talented artist originally from Houston and based in Los Angeles, has gained recognition for her work as a stand-up comedian, writer, rapper, gamer, and content creator. Her love for all things nerdy has played a significant role in building her following, and she has incorporated her passions for gaming, anime, and pop culture into her work. Haze has written in development with Nickelodeon, wrote gags for “Bring Back Laughs” featuring Hannibal Burress and The Lucas Bros, and published a book of poetry titled “playing with fire.” She has worked with well-known comedians like Brandon T. Jackson, Clayton English, and Orlando Jones, and has appeared on KevonStage’s “Keep Your Distance,” All Def, and OWN’s “All the Single Ladies.” Haze also hosts several podcasts, including “Bedtime B!tchin’” and “Presidential Fitness with Ice McGowan,” and her own gaming show, “Mostly Positive,” on GWB. As a nerdcore rapper, Roxxy has released “Roxxy Versus” and is set to release “A Little R & R” in April 2023. Currently, Haze is working with Carl Jones’ (The Boondocks) new animation studio – Martin Blueberry.
