Dave Chappelle joined Foo Fighters at Madison Square Garden for a cover of Radiohead‘s 1993 hit, “Creep.”

The concert, which took place on June 20, was the first full-capacity show at MSG since COVID-19 derailed the plans of artists in the music industry. Frontman Dave Grohl welcomed Chappelle, who was comfortably wearing sunglasses, on stage and they seamlessly performed “Creep” with the entire audience singing along.

The comedian’s appearance took place just after he surprised audience members at the 2021 Tribeca Film Festival with a 30-minute concert from the likes of A$AP Ferg, Q-Tip, Ghostface Killah, De La Soul, Redman, Talib Kweli DJ Clark Kent. Since fans were not allowed to have their phones inside, there are no videos and photos available on the internet. “Commit to being kind to one another,” Chappelle said at the end of the festival. “They cannot break us apart, no matter what our country says, no matter what any corporation says. We will help each other get through tough times. New York City, I love you so much.”
