Today, Netflix announced its bringing back its half hour stand-up showcase The Standups for a third season.
Comedians featured for season three includes Brian Simpson, Dusty Slay, Janelle James, Mark Normand, Melissa Villaseñor, and Naomi Ekperigin. Previous stand-up comics who have been featured includes comedy heavyweights Nate Bargatze, Fortune Feimster, Nikki Glaser, Deon Cole, Beth Stelling, Dan Soder, Joe Lost, Kyle Kinane, Gina Yashere, Rachel Feinstein, Brent Morin, and Aparna Nancherla.
While no official release date has been given yet, Netflix announced that the third season will launch sometime later this year. We do, however know the recordings will be happening at The Edison Ballroom in NYC on Wednesday and Thursday, August 4th and 5th and you can reserve your spot for the taping now.
Audiences will have to show proof of vaccination for entry.
