Filmed at Wiseguys Comedy Club in Salt Lake City, Utah, Cry For Me Daddy is the latest comedy special from stand-up comedian Aaron Woodall.

Named one of Conan’s Comics to Watch at the 2018 New York Comedy Festival and one-half of the hit podcast The Mormon and the Meth-Head, Aaron is as charming and delightful on stage as he is honest and vulnerable.

His jokes have been seen on Fox, Hulu, Epix, and DryBar Comedy.

Aaron Woodall: On stage, Aaron is as delightful and charming as he is honest and vulnerable. With an outlook that’s as infectious as his laughs, his ability to effervescently share all of life’s sad little disillusions with a sense of wide-eyed excitement has endeared him to audiences across the country. Even after growing up to learn that God is dead, love isn’t real, and beer doesn’t even taste very good, Aaron still prefers to celebrate all the beautiful and mundane miracles that make up our everyday existence on this potentially computer simulated space rock.

Aaron started stand up comedy in 2011, while enrolled at The Lord’s University (that’s really what they call BYU). Like most college degrees, his was a complete and expensive waste of time, as he’s been touring and performing ever since graduation- which he skipped to drive to a bar gig in Wyoming.

In 2018 he co-started and co-hosted the incredibly personal and somehow popular Mormon and the Meth-Head podcast, which resonated with mentally-ill listeners around the world. He was invited later that year to the New York City Comedy Festival, being named to the Comics To Watch showcase, and getting to open for Bert Kreischer at the historic Town Hall theater. He has participated in numerous festivals and competitions, never winning any of them.

His jokes have been seen on FOX, Hulu, Dry Bar Comedy, Epix, and the Boise, Idaho Army Navy Surplus Store’s website (this is true, apparently).
