Ken Jeong Set To Recieve Star On Hollywood Walk Of Fame

The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce has announced actor & comedian Ken Jeong as its next recipient for a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Jeong will be receiving the honor next week on October 23rd with Sophie Flay emceeing, Joel McHale & Randall Park on-hand to speak about Jeong and his influence on Hollywood, comedy & culture. As noted in a press release, he’ll be receiving the 2,794th star on Vine Street where there will also be a special surprise in store for Ken.

Ana Martinez, Producer of the Hollywood Walk of Fame, shared in a statement, “The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce is proud to honor Ken Jeong with a well-deserved star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Ken’s incredible journey from medicine to entertainment is a testament to his remarkable talent and dedication.” She then adds, “In short, the doctor is in!”

Since leaving the medical field to pursue acting & comedy, Jeong landed his first feature film debut in Judd Apatow’s Knocked Up in 2007, which would then propel him to become one of the biggest names in Hollywood & comedy working today. He’s also well known for starring in hit films & shows like The Hangover franchise, Community, Crazy Rich Asians & his own ABC sitcom Dr. Ken. He can currently be seen as a panelist the hit reality series The Masked Singer as well as Kevin Smith’s star-studded The 4:30 Movie & the new Prime Video action-comedy My Spy: The Eternal City.

The ceremony will take place at the historic corner of Hollywood & Vine in Hollywood & will stream live on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at 11:30 AM PT on walkoffame.com
